Welcome to Visit Bunclody

Snuggled in the breathtaking parkland of Mount Leinster, Bunclody is set among rich quiet farmlands on the border of counties Wexford, and Carlow.  Bunclody is a pretty town where the Slaney and Clody Rivers meet in the valley of the Blackstairs Mountains and flow gracefully under an old granite bridge.

A beautiful Mall of lime trees and a babbling stream takes pride of place in the centre of the wide main street which is lined with quaint shops, cafes, traditional pubs and restaurants.

Bunclody attracts many sports and outdoor enthusiasts from the avid golfer enjoying the panoramic views of Mount Leinster while playing the renowned Bunclody Golf & Fishing Course, to hill walkers, cycling groups and hang gliders. Local walks include Black Rock Mountain and Mount Leinster, Tomnafinnoge Woods, Rathanna Walk, Kilbranish Walk and Coolmelagh Walk.

Bunclody town is an ideal base for culturally curious tourists with many historic sites in surrounding areas of Enniscorthy, Wexford, Clonegal, Carlow, Wicklow, Kilkenny and Waterford. In the town you can enjoy a visit to Newtownbarry House and Gardens and relax in the Tea Rooms after a leisurely stroll around the Art exhibitions and Gardens.
